Hunters Ridge, Inc

English lessons are given everyday for $35 per lesson.  Lessons are given by our qualified instructors, on our safe and reliable lesson horses. We are also fully insured.  Private lessons (1 rider) are 1/2 hour, semi-private lessons (2 riders) are 45 mins and group lessons (3-4 riders) are 1 hour.  Lesson times do not include tack-up and un-tack time.  We provide ASTM/SEI approved helmets for you to use during your lesson and we ask that you wear your helmet at all times while working around or on the horses.  All riders must wear pants in the barn and have a closed toe shoe with at least a 1/2 inch heel, for safety reasons.

Meet the Lesson Horses:

"Sweet Guiness"

Guinness: Aged small pony gelding for all level riders. He's a super star at the horse shows and a real cofidence builder for riders.

Chester: Aged TB gelding. A fun ride for the more experienced rider!

"Dollars and Sense"

Maggie: QH cross mare for walk trot through Jumping lessons!



"Because I Said So"

Holly: Morgan cross mare. Very smooth horse to ride.

Tulip: Aged warmblood mare with a long show record. 

"London Sun"

London: TB gelding great for intermediate and advanced riders. 



"Louis"

Louis: TB gelding great for intermediate and advanced rider looking to do more and jump higher.







 "Playmore"

     Leasing is also available on a month to month or yearly basis for students of Hunters Ridge. Contact for more information. Students that lease our horses are required to keep them at Hunters Ridge and continue to take 1 lesson per week (not included in lease price). Some horses are available for off farm leases.

All students are invited to attend any shows we go to.  We offer 'something for everyone' from the local 4-H shows to the A and AA rated shows.
